Ergonomical Design

BookDrive Pro is a new model that is designed to be more robust and ergonomical to users than BookDrive DIY. For example, the design supports the placing of a monitor in front of the operator.

Automatic Center Positioning

In BookDrive DIY, if you finish scanning small books and want to move to larger books, you will have to adjust the camera positioning in 2 planes: horizontal and vertical.

In BookDrive Pro, however, the camera positioning is a lot easier and automated. You have to adjust only one plane: diagonal and the camera will always point at the center of the book. It’s less work than BookDrive DIY.

Double-security Locking Mechanism

BookDrive Pro provides better safety and security for your cameras. Instead of a lock by screw used in BookDrive DIY, BookDrive uses a double-security locking mechanism. It’s safer and gives you peace of mind when working with expensive DSLR cameras like 5D or 1Ds Mark III.

Even Light Distribution

BookDrive Pro replaces florescent light bulbs with twin LED lighting panels. The lighting system in BookDrive Pro provides more even light distribution than the BookDrive DIY and this kind of set up also kills reflection. BookDrive Pro is a must buy if you want to scan glossy magazine pages.

Auto Capture Comes Standard

BookDrive Pro comes integrated with Auto Capture Switch. Every time you’ve turned a page, Auto Capture Switch detects and orders the cameras to scan the page automatically. It helps save you from having to press a button thousands of times.
